Subject: New and improved website |
Please take a moment to visit all of the areas of the new and improved FMAR website. It is easy to navigate and is packed with great information. I am sure the developers would love to hear your comments as well.
A special thank you to Orsi Dezsi, Bob Mariner, and Bob Smith for all of your hard team work to create this site for our supporters and visitors. |

Subject: LET'S CLEAR THE AIR AND TALK ABOUT THIS SUPEREME S |
I would officially like to clear the air...I was mistaken and very angry when I worte my post about Danny Davis. There was a lot of confusion about my giving up my dog, and a lot of misunderstanding. If you will please look at Casper on the adoptable pet list, you will see that he is in doggie bliss and could not be any happier. The people that head this shelter are wonderful people and wrote me to assure me that Casper was doing fine and are obviously very caring, not only about all the animals, but about peoples feelings in general. I don't think Brutis/Casper could be in a better place. He looks so much happier, than he ever did with what we were able to provide him with. He truely looks like he is at camp and getting the royal treatment. I did visit the facility and it is a lovely place, where the animals are well loved and taken care of. For the very little space they have, they have done a magnificent job creating a wonderful environment that is safe and imaculately clean for the animals. I was very upset to hear my dog was surrendered by Danny, and there must have been some kind of misunderstanding between us...but the staff and heads of this shelter are truely truely wonderful people and I would recommend anyone who wants to adopt an animal for a companion to visit this shelter, because not only they will guarenty a happy healthy animal to you... I will put my life on it! |

Hi Rose,
Thanks so much for the great update. You and Jim are wonderful. You have rescued enough dogs yourselves that you might want to consider starting your own rescue!! LOL
Love to both you and Jim |

Subject: Cat Haven/Capital Campaign |
Things continue to be a blessing for FMAR. We are working on updating everyone on where we are with the capital campaign so keep watching your mailbox for exciting news from the shelter home front.
We continue to find blessings of help from people who can save us money on our Cat Haven renovations and we thank each and every one of you for your support.
Last week our electrician came out with the inspector to see what we needed to get power to the building. Please pray for warm weather so we can get things moving again.
The dogs told me just yesterday that they can't wait to get the cats a home of their own so they will quit teasing them!
The cats said they can't wait to have a little peace and quiet for a change.
Blessings to all of you for your support.

Subject: Cat Barn Renovation update |
It is inspection time for the rough plumbing and then the cat haven will be ready for the cement to be poured. If we are blessed with any more warmer days we may get it poured in the next couple of weeks, but if it stays in the 30's we will need to wait until warmer weather hits again. A special thank you goes to Cromer Building, Blue Ribbon Contracting, C.A.L Plumbing & Heating, and Mallion Carpentry for all of their hard work so far to make our dreams a reality. We are looking forward to the finished projects. Check our photo gallery in the next couple of weeks where we should have a few pictures ready for you. |
